The Safety Culture Ladder (SCL)
SCL is a unique certification scheme where auditors do not look at what is regulated on paper, but at attitudes and behaviour around safety and health. It is already widely used in sectors such as rail, energy and construction, and has high social value. As a consultant, you will work to monitor and improve the quality of this scheme and ensure that it grows.
What will you do?
As Consultant Safety Culture Ladder, you are the link between stakeholders, processes and project goals. Your tasks are multifaceted and challenging:
- Market analysis and advice: u Monitors market developments and advises stakeholders on trends and opportunities.
- Stakeholder management: you identify and involve parties with an interest in the SCL.
- Project management: you are responsible for
- You support the application of the SCL standard. or supervising various projects under the SCL.
- You ensure harmonisation between certifying bodies so that SCL assessment is done in the same way.
What does that look like in practice?
You are constantly evolving and responding to a variety of questions, such as:
- How do you make the SCL accessible to a new sector?
- How to vote agree a tailor-made solution with a major industry association?
- How does it ensure that information on the SCL is easy to read and apply for everyone?
- You will help organise events.
- You will make presentations to and conduct interviews with potential stakeholders.
- You will prepare meetings, provide agendas and minutes, and monitor the progress of various working groups.
